Black Lives Matter is such a positive, innocuous message. That it causes some people such offense is wild.

My nephew, in a blue state, subscribed to the "All Lives Matter" perspective when he was younger. At the time, he'd gone down an alt-right YouTube rabbit hole. He's done a complete 180 since then, thankfully, but it shows how sticky this ideology is. I think it's because at the most superficial level it's true.
