I appreciate how clearheaded you are about this issue, especially, if I'm being really honest, since you're Republican. I wrote a piece last week about finding common ground in expanded background checks, and I all but received death threats. To be fair, I got some nasty messages from the left too, lambasting me for catering to the right. We're so divided.
