I couldn't agree more, Eric. When I was in high school, I went on a school trip to Italy. We saw about a dozen cities and towns in as many days. Though I have fond memories of that trip, we glossed over the majority of what those places had to offer, focusing not on the culture and the people but on our collective checklist. We spent so much time on the move that I don't really even feel like I've been to Italy. I'd much rather go back and linger in one place and drink it all in.
