Yeah, the nudity in American television is so transactional. This is a sex scene; therefore, we must show naked bodies. Nudity in British, French and German film and television is so much more casual, more incidental.

I agree about the interest in other countries. I wish Americans traveled more. I really believe seeing and interacting with other cultures and people breeds empathy.
